Surfing through the internet for weight loss cures, you find an ad on a website that says you can lose twenty-five pounds in one month if you buy the weight loss program. You click on the ad and download the program from the website.
After a few days, you realize that it was a knock off of a famous weight loss program freely available on the internet. You mail for a refund, and the customer services don’t reply to your refund mails.
Numbers talk, attract the people, and get more attention because the product boosts their scientific fact. They use lines such as “burns 30% more fats, burns 75% more calories or lose weight 50% faster”. These numbers are sure impressive compared to what? I have fallen for the scam contact.
Companies give an in-depth scientific study of the product they are selling online. It is okay to have some background studies related to the product, but the alarm goes off when there are hundreds of studies. These studies can be unrelated to the product or very old, making it futile.
Online scams and scammers have increased a lot within a year. Almost ten new scams are unfolding each day. Look for the Red flags, be aware while shopping online. Take due care while looking for weight loss remedies over the internet.
