You will be offered a job forwarding emails to earn money on behalf of a firm. It will appear on the surface to be a simple marketing job or an entry-level career in online database management. The “business” tells you that all you have to do to get started is pay a charge for the software you’ll need. But, once the fraudsters have received the money, they will either never send the materials, or worse, the “material” will be a letter instructing you on how to carry out the same scam on other possible victims.
Crafts
The crafts scam is yet another scam that’s been around for so long that it’s incredible it still attracts victims. However, it does, and individuals are still losing tens of thousands of dollars due to it. Scammers begin by posting advertisements online or in the media seeking workers to manufacture crafts or other things for them. Then, they guarantee per-piece payment, claiming that they only accept high-quality goods and that workers will be required to buy exclusively from them for sewing machines and other equipment.
Make money fast scam
Another scam has risen in prominence as a result of the pandemic. Making money fast or getting rich quick is nothing but the same. It eats at people’s desire to earn money at a fast rate. This scam entails the possibility of making more in a short period. A common way you come across such scams is through advertisements on the internet. A man or a woman posing with their Porsche or Audi cars and well-built and beautiful home in the background is what usually catches the attention of commoners. These ads come with invites to make money fast. You are asked to follow the given link in the picture, which will lead you to a flashy website that promises to get you rich quickly by investing a relatively small amount of money. Once you do so, you are shown profits and only profits. You fall for this and end up getting scammed.

This is a sure-shot scam. Because, where in the world will you be paid just for doing a course and following its instructions? This scam entails that you will be asked to fill a form out and spend a certain amount; after that, you will be directed to a link where the course stands and ask to start it. That’s it. You will be told that you will get paid every week. But, as we asked earlier, why would you be paid for following a course. So, before falling for this question yourself.

The $1 trial is only a technique to get your credit card, and it’s not a solid sign of a scam. Not necessary to commit fraud but to identify YOU as a purchaser. You are tagged as a “buyer with purpose” when you take out your credit card (even if it is only for $1). And there is nothing terrible with that, and it wouldn’t necessarily mean you’re being taken advantage of. But it’s something to think about..

Take it as a significant red flag if they don’t have a reliable way to contact you. You may come across a program that claims to pay 6 (or even 7-figures) to its subscribers, but the only way to get in touch with them is through an obscure email address? Legitimate businesses, particularly those dealing with large sums of money, will contain information on who owns the company, who runs it, and so on. A “CONTACT” form or the opportunity to submit a support ticket is usually available should you commit a considerable sum of money (as many of these services do), you must be able to contact assistance and support.
